Nothing. Debut does not collect personally identifiable information, telemetry, usage analytics, or crash reports of any kind. The app runs entirely on your Mac, offline.
Every project you create is stored locally on your machine at ~/Documents/Debut/Projects/ as plain JSON files. You own them completely — back them up, version-control them, move them between machines, or delete them at any time. Debut never touches them after you quit the app.
Files you import — app screenshots, background images, app icons — are embedded inside your local project JSON. They are never uploaded anywhere. We have no infrastructure to receive them even if we wanted to.
Subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We never see your payment information. Apple shares with us only the anonymous receipt token needed to verify your entitlement, which the app validates on-device. No purchase data is sent to our servers — we don't have servers.
Debut connects to Apple endpoints only — to validate your in-app purchase via StoreKit and to check for app updates through the Mac App Store. It does not contact any third-party server, analytics service, or CDN.
Debut is rated 4+ on the Mac App Store and is safe for users of all ages. Since we collect no data from anyone, children are not at risk.
If we ever change this policy — for example, if we add an optional cloud sync feature — we will publish the change here and notify Pro subscribers via the in-app "What's New" panel before it takes effect. We will never add data collection silently.
